Looking After Yourself - Health Education

The practice puts great emphasis on preventative medicine. Our practice nurses are all experienced health educators, each having their individual areas of interest and expertise. Appointments can be made with them to discuss lifestyle/health improvement.

Weekdays 9.00am - 12 noon and 2.00 - 5.30pm

Non-NHS Services

The doctors are available to provide private certificates and medical examinations for special purposes eg elderly drivers, HGV drivers, pre-employment checks, fitness to travel etc. In general most of these requests fall outside the services of the NHS. This means that they do not take priority over routine NHS services and are chargable. Where a charge is appropriate you will be advised. Our practice policy is to keep all patient charges to a minimum. In the case of life assurance examinations, these costs will be borne by the policy provider. Where possible we will ensure all such requests are completed within 20 working days.
