Following recent guidance from NHS England, patients entering our GP practice with respiratory symptoms will be required to wear a face mask. For all other patients, mask-wearing will be a personal preference.
Our GPs and clinical staff will continue to wear face masks as part of PPE when working with suspected or confirmed Covid-19 patients. NHS England’s updated guidance includes staff in non-clinical areas not needing to wear masks unless it is a personal preference, or if there are issues raised by risk assessments.
We will continue to monitor the position in line with NHS guidance and Covid case rates in our area.
